Is it ok to use cute paper napkins, when using lovely, real white tablecloths?

It's a cake and punch wedding shower for my boss and will be held at our place of employment. Oh yes, I will be using clear glass plates for cake. Is it tacky to use the cute wedding paper napkins or should I use linen? Thanks for your help!
