Will my Guinea Pig Stop Rumbling?

So I got my little 5 months old cavy (female) another 2-3 months old female. the moment she saw her she started rumbling and jumping on top of her like as if she wanted to mate with her and it sometimes looks like she's attacking her. I'm a little worried this won't stop within the time. Any suggestions on what I can do?

I have 6 fry i've had for about a week in a bottle with holes in a 10 gallon. I have 6 bucks. I have an empty 5 gallon and an old 10-15 gallon filter. Must you cycle a fry tank before adding the fry? The filter I have uses cartridges, but I want to use something else instead. I was wondering if I could use a plastic scrubbing pad, and a household sponge [wrapped in linen], and carbon wrapped in cheesecloth in that filter instead of the cartridges. Hey there, I was wondering if it was just me who felt this way about my high school. Do you feel like the classes that graduated 3-5 years ago were so much better than the ones that are already there/coming up? I live in the south in a suburb of our capital city (not a great one) and a lot of the kids from that city come to our school because it's one of the best public schools in the state, which I have no problem with but a lot of the kids just totally lack respect for the teachers or any of the programs at the school, also I have noticed a lot of the girls coming up are a lot more skanky (I didn't know how to put that nicely..) But like they are in 7th grade and wear a full face of makeup to school and have already lost their virginity. When I was in 7th grade I wrote pretend books with my friend and climbed trees.. Why don't you suggest that they can enter one of those television reality shows where the people compete to see who has the best wedding. There are tons of couples who have expensive weddings and end up divorced in a few years. Make it clear to them that you are happy with the generosity and resourcefulness of your family and friends who made your wedding a reality. Also remind them that at the end of the day it is the quality of the marriage that matters, not how fancy the wedding is and you already have a four-year head start on them here. It's clear that they don't understand this if they aren't even on their own yet. Don't let them get you down either, obviously these people are simple minded and mean spirited if they can only put down your happy day to make theirs seem better in comparison.

Rumble noise after tune up and smells like gas?

I had a mechanic (he is a friend and works at a repair shop) do a tune up on my 2004 Chevy Malibu V6, I got the car back yesterday morning, and while I was idling in the parking lot, I noticed it was making a rumble noise (it almost sounds like a faint helicopter) I got out of the car to here where it was coming from and it is coming from underneath my hood near the windshield on the driver side. I don't know too much about cars, but I know my car was not making this noise before. Also, about half way through the day yesterday, idling again, my car starts smelling like gas, so every time I was driving it yesterday, after I would stop at a light, it would smell like gas again. I have never had any problems with my car before. He said he replaced the plugs, wires, a filter, and cleaned something out, I want to say the Fuel Injector. He told me it was nothing he did during the tune up, I just didn't notice before because the car wasn't running 100%. He then said when I drove it to him he could hear an exhaust leak, which I pay very close attention to sounds, and never heard anything before. Any help on this would be appreciated!

Okay, I got poison ivy hiking in the woods last month. My boyfriend and I didn't see any, but I got it anyway. He didn't (lucky jerk). Anyway, I went to the doctor and got on some steroids, both in pill and topical forms. It started to go away, but new, isolated rashes have begun to develop. I'm blind and it's very hard to take care of; I've had it before as a child but did not have this much trouble recovering. I am still religiously applying topical steroid cream and making sure to stay clean and dry at all times. I've even washed and sterilized all surfaces and clothing and linens multiple times, so I'm not sure why this is happening. Though don't go overboard with the nuts because those can actually be unhealthy if you eat more than a serving. My favorite snack is celery and carrots with hummus. Though I don't eat much fat and added sugars so my body is use to eating healthy so the fruits and veggies fill me up.

Stop with the kid diapers if she's using them when unnecessary. Get two matress protectors. Put one on the bed, sheets then another matreess protector and sheets. When she wets the bed you can pull one layer off. It likely is a physical thing, but at 6, even if she wets the bed don't put a diaper/pull up on.

Everyone has sinned and one sin is as another so if you have never sinned then I suppose you could feel free to cast the first stone. But even those in Jesus' day that opposed Him could not rightly do that.

I cannot take this anymore, what should I do?

My mom has really been pissing me off lately. Earlier this morning I had a fever, even though it was a low fever (sore throat, headache, slight nausea), I still felt very sick. I asked my mom where the medicine was and she said right in the linen closet so I checked and found nyquil which would have made me wayyy too tired for right before school (i usually use Tylenol Sore Throat, does the trick). I said I could only find nyquil, and she said there has to be something in there. The only other thing in there was Zicam which never helps my throat at all, I have tried many times. I said I don't know if this will work, I feel really sick. I hadn't even said anything about missing school but my mom just starts going off, "YOU AREN'T MISSING SCHOOL, YOU CAN'T MISS ANYMORE!" So I said okay. She starts yelling at me about my attitude, which, I really don't think that I had, but it could be plausible since I was extremely tired and feeling quite ill. That did make me mad though so I did get a little bit of an attitude because of my headache (yelling+headache=not pleasant) and said can you please just shush. After that she says did you just say shush!?? and starts yelling at my stepdad about how he didn't do anything about it and he needs to make me give her more respect and the only reason I have attitude is because no action is ever taken (I get yelled at at least once everyday for attitude that most of the time I don't think I have and if I do I will admit it but wayy too much action is taken all the time. I took the zicam and went to school so i could just get away from her. When I got home she called and I immediately apologized for my attitude I had that morning (whether I had it or not). This was followed by a 15 minute lecture on how my apology is accepted but she is tired of it and it can never happen anymore and I need to learn that, which makes me mad because I apologized because I did learn that, humans get attitude when they are angry its nature, and I can't always not have one, believe me I do try, I even recorded myself talking all one day to her to see if I did "raise my voice" at her. She is too controlling as well. One day I was at my friends house she called me 4 times in 10 minutes ( no exaggeration) and I picked up each time. She apparently kept forgetting something new. She calls me at least once every hour when I'm out, and if I go somewhere (the gas station for food) and don't call her from that friends house before leaving (or even going somewhere else in there neighborhood) i get yelled at for like 10 minutes. I have to be home by 10 every friday for work at 6 in the morning with my stepdad (not my choice) and 10 on a friday is pretty tough for a close to 17 year old kid. The final part is there is a girl that I used to be good friends with that moved away that is visiting this weekend. My mom is going to maryland for Memorial Day weekend and I can't stay home by myself which is fine, but I told her she could talk to my friends mom about me staying there and she said probably not and if I did I wouldn't be allowed to go back to our house for anything (even though I am like 5 minutes from my friends house-walking). Don't get me wrong, I have made my fair share of mistakes and my mom used to be far more trustworthy and a lot of it is my fault, I admit it. A while ago I got caught smoking pot, and I understand why she can be so controlling. However, it was a while ago, and I don't think she should be AS controlling, and definitely not so mean a lot of the time. She obviously isn't perfect either (been divorced 4 times), so maybe she's the one with the attitude? I can be a very nice kid, and I'm sorry to complain. Cracking/rumbling sound in chest?

Hi, I have been having this cracking/rumbling sound in my chest for about 3 months now or at least that's when I noticed it. Whenever I take a deep breath I can kind of feel it but I can feel it the most when I move my stomach in and out. It feels like it's in the middle of my chest and it doesn't hurt when I do it. I'm only 17 and have been having anxiety over this. I went to the doctor 3 months ago and they said everything sounded normal. I flea bombed my house... so what now?

I moved into a new apartment three weeks ago. After about a week, I woke up with huge and insanely painful bug bites. I instantly freaked out that we had bed bugs. I did a 100% thorough search of my bed and found not a single sign of one. After a week and a half of being eaten alive, my boyfriend finally woke up with a bite. I had thought that I was having an allergic reaction to something but that turned things in another direction. I bought a mattress case, and washed all my bed linens in super hot water and dried them for a long time. When I put them back on the bed, I vacuumed everything and put doubled sided tape all around my bed and where I slept. There was no way for a bed bug to crawl on to me without hitting the tape. The next morning, my boyfriend woke up with around 30 bites all on his right thigh. That made me relax about the bed bugs and freak about fleas. I have a cat who is an indoor cat, and I got out her flea comb and thoroughly checked her and...nothing! She hasn't been scratching, biting, or acting odd. Her bedding all looked clean with no fleas or eggs, but we're being eaten alive! I flea bombed today, and have a pest control guy coming on Friday to look around. What should I do with this apartment now that I have flea bombed? I do not want to wash all my clothes as I have to pay 2.50 a load and we have a lot of clothes. Any suggestions on what the hell could be happening and what I should do next?

I might sound like an idiot here but I'm not sure. I heard somewhere that if your around the same female for a long time your periods will start happening the same time. Dude, you do rrealiseTHQ cannot put all of this in one game for the simple fact that WWE basically only gives them a year to spit out these games. Its not like they want to release an unfisnished game. They have to or they dont get their money. So the reason they cant put all of this in the game is because they simply dont have the time. Now If you ask me. I think they just need to go back to the smackdown controls all together and just bring back those old match types. I honestly dont care if they have to take out certain things or hell even tone down the graphics or whatever. But bring back the old GM mode and season mode. 2002 Dodge Caravan Sputtering?

I had a problem like this on a 2000 Grand Caravan. It turned out to be the spark plug wires. Tried an aftermarket set and it didn't work. Had to get a set from the Dealer. That solved the issue and the price at the dealer was less than the aftermarket wires. Go figure.

Flea infestation, HELP?

I have two large dogs (both labs) and I live in the deep south. Napoleon (my larger lab) has flea dermatitis and it is killing me watching him suffer. The fleas are out of control right now. I have done everything imaginable. We have been doing this weekly baths, daily vacuuming, weekly washing of the dogs linens and our linens, monthly front line application, monthly carpet shampooing and monthly treatment of the yard. I also comb them out about once a day (outside). I keep finding them though. Our mattresses are sealed in plastic and we regularly shampoo our couches. We do have a problem with feral cats in our neighborhood though, I'm pretty sure they have fleas because they are always scratching. They always come in our yard trying to catch squirrels and birds.We have called animal control about them several times but they have done nothing. Is anyone else having a flea problem, I am at my wits end. I do have a 1 year old son and want to keep him safe from chemicals (hence all the cleaning, vacuuming and washing). I have heard about the new flew pill Comfortis, has anyone tried it?

Does my guinea pig sound scared of me?

I've had my guinea pig for 2 days now. I've held her least 2 times per day since I've gotten her. Temporarily, she's in a storage bin with holes cut in the top until I can get a wire cage with a play pen surrounding it. I reach down in and get her. She runs a little, but when I get my hands on her, she sits still and lets me pick her up. I sit down with her on the couch, and usually she sits in my lap with her head sitting in between my legs. She makes low squeaky noises, almost like shes talking to herself. I rub my hand up her back and she makes a rumbling noise. Is this okay? Whe I let her just sit there, she doesn't try to run off. I even sat her on the couch beside me where I wasn't touching her. She made a really high pitched noise them ran behind my back. When she's sitting on my chest, she climbs up and sits on my neck and lets me pet her. She shakes a little bit...and bites her teeth together...is this a bad sign? And please, if you know f anything that will help her get used to me quicker, let me know. She's so darn cute and soft. I want her to feel comfortable with me so I can hold her more.

Otherwise the whole cart is contaminated. The cart itself is contaminated. We have a client who refuses to properly bag biohazards. Likewise, it is expected that sharps are not present in the linens. We don't want anyone getting pricked with a needle with such nasties as HIV or HBV. This client has had sharps in their linens. More than all other accounts combined. This is unacceptable. Finally, when solids are present i.e. feces, the customer has to make a reasonable effort to remove the solids. They never do. There is a way to fold dirty contaminated linens so we know it has been checked. They just bunch it up in nylon mesh bags and toss it in the cart. We've spoken to several people, at least twice each. Letters have been sent Certified, Return Receipt to even the owner. Everyone says it will be taken care of. It never is. It is about 10% of my total sales, about $600 per week. They are my lowest profit, perhaps 30%. Most run around 40-45%. In actual numbers, they mean about $200 a week to my pocket. They are a pain. They are also creating a certain amount of danger. 20 weeks pregnant, should I be worried baby is moving a bit less?

I am 20 weeks 4 days; I had my ultrasound last week, and my baby boy is healthy. I was told I had an anterior placenta. Well a few days into my 18 weeks, my baby started kicking (as he is breached, or was when we did US) and I felt the kicks in my low pelvic area. They were pretty strong that my bf felt it too from the outside! He kept kicking around the same spot few days after that, especially when I went to bed or when I would wake up in the middle of the night/morning. Now 2 days ago, I stopped feeling his kicks. Based on your list, you seem to like romance with an element of fantasy but not too overwhelming (me too!) Here are some like that which I watched and enjoyed: Hakushaku to Yousei (aka Earl and Fairy), Spice and Wolf, Full Moon wo Sagashite, Shugo Chara!, Ookami-san to Shichinin no Nakama-tachi. Some that I recommend that don't have a fantasy element but are good romances anyway: ITAZURA NA KISS (goes from high school all the way to college, very thorough and touching), KIMI NI TODOKE (a lovely and sweet high school romance), LOVELY COMPLEX (high school, this was so funny but sweet!), LAMUNE (a very gentle high school romance between childhood friends with a little drama), TORADORA (a great and cute romantic high school comedy!), PEACH GIRL (high school, lots of romance but tons of drama!) , and NANA (it has college age people but so dramatic and romantic and lots of good music, and you will love the friendship between the two Nanas. Bomb the house a few more times--it can take several rounds to get everything. Make sure you're buying multiple bombs, and setting one in every single room of the house, including long hallways or staircases. You have to cover every inch of the house, and even use two for larger rooms. You can also get these pills called CAPSTAR from the vet that instantly cause every flea on the cat to die. I treated my cat a few years back with it when he got fleas, and you can literally see the fleas falling off them within minutes. Also, you need to stop letting your cat outside. If she's still going outside, she's still going to pick up fleas and bring them back to the house. Additionally, it's unsafe to let your pet outside unattended, because she could get lost, kitten-napped, or hit by a car. She could be attacked by other animals or eat poison from someone's garden or garbage can. Cats are not carpet--they're not indoor/outdoor. Keep her inside, hit the house, and get her one of those magic pills.

Cold helps with calming your body down. I am assuming you're warm or sweaty/clammy from the nausea. Cold helps alot.

Problem with Blackberry curve 3G from AT&T.?

Yesterday, AT&T's service crashed in south Florida, so everyone ( or mostly everyone's ) phones stopped working. But then, after the service was reportedly fixed, my blackberry was still not working. Now the past few weeks every once in a while my car will rumble and jolt a little at stop lights, and when driving from a stop it jolts back and forth like I'm hitting the brakes, once I get to about 45 mph it drives fine. It doesn't always jolt around, just when it feels like it, I haven't been able to afford getting it checked out, but does anyone know what this may be caused by? I was thinking it may be a vacume hose, because my old car had a similar problem and it ended up just being a worn out vacume hose, any ideas as to what is wrong?

I think you need to ask around locally. Some non-denominational churches are more lenient than ones of a particular group, like Baptists, Lutheran, Presbyterian, etc. where I'm positive they'd want you to be a member of the denomination if not the church itself. A few termite looking bugs in bed and linen closet? ?

A few days a go i was going to bed and felt something crawling on my arm, i turned on my light and it looked kind of like an ant sized termite. I killed the bug, turned off the light and proceeded to go back to bed. The next night the same exact thing happened to me and i killed the bug. The next morning i woke up to take a shower and grabbed a towel out of the linen closet and there was another one of these bugs but dead, then i went to take my shirt off for my shower and notices a dead bug on my shirt (probably in my bed). Our Bathroom Smells Horrible, But I Can't Find The Source?

In the past couple of weeks our only full bathroom has developed this horrific oder and I cannot figure out where its coming from for the life of me. We keep a very clean home. My husband is a complete neat freak (Its annoyingly adorable. lol) He bleaches the tub and the toilet once a week and uses Drain-o in the sink and tub almost just as often. We also mop the floor and wash all of the linens, including the rug about twice a week. The trash also goes out quite frequently. I even checked behind the toilet and under the sink to see if a mouse died or something. It is seriously that bad. I won't use the toilet in there anymore. Any ideas about where it might be coming from? I'm totally stumped.

I don't like them mostly because they are too ethnocentric and violent. I lived in Maharashtra for 2 years when I was a kid and had a very bad experience.Even the teachers were unfair to me, they used to give me less marks and they didn't stop the bullies from bullying me and when I tried to defend myself by fighting with the bullies, I was the one who got scolded. I never had any good experience with South Indians. They always used to charge us double the price because we didn't know their language and always made fun of us for that reason. People were very impolite and rude too. I've got no intention of hating half of my own country, but they so make me hate them. And worse of all is that they don't even consider themselves to be Indians and won't even try to learn hindi, it's a national language, you got to love it as yours.

My daughter is still wetting the bed, I am ready to give up, please help?

My daughter turned 4 in June, I have been potty training her during night time for almost 6 months now. Everynight I wake up every 2 hours and take her to the toilet. Sometimes I oversleep and by the time I wake up, she has already wet the bed. She doesnt even wake up, she sleeps with the wet clothes and linen. I have stopped any fluids after 5 in the afternoon, she goes to the loo before she goes to sleep. I am drained, waking up every two hours is really hectic, but how long is this going to go on like this, I am thinking now maybe she has got a bladder problem, I dont know, does anyone have any helpfull tips that I can try?

I am 15 years old and have been playing golf for 13 months i am shooting high 70's to low 80's at courses all over South Carolina i am a 9 handicap at my local course and actually work there i play 36 holes everyday and sometimes more. I practice 3 hours a day on the range and practice green. I also play on my high school varsity team, Every one says i am doing great and i have a great swing. What should I do about my in-laws visit?

This is very hard to write, but it is the truth. I am currently visiting the city where my husband grew up in. His parents are elderly, and are not used to going anywhere. They have a huge family, but there is a problem. My in-laws are filthy people. They do not bathe, ever, and do not even use the air conditioning in their house. They live in complete squalor & filth. There are roaches everywhere in the house, even crawling over their utensils. I was horrified the first time I went. My husband has tried to get them to bathe, but they refuse. They have never liked bathing, so it isn't because they are old. My husband had a special shower stall built for them in their home, so they wouldn't have to climb over a tub. They won't use it. I am very concerned, because he is bringing them to stay in our small one bedroom apartment. They are going to sleep on our bed, with our clean linen, and they won't bathe! They literally stink, and my husband won't tell them anything. I want them to bathe everyday that they are there, but I don't it is going to be a battle. One time my father in law even had a roach egg growing on his scrotum. My mother in law popped it, and a bunch of little bugs crawled out. That is how dirty there people are! I am very scared they are going to infest our apartment with body lice. I don't know what to do, and I am stressed out beyond belief. My husband has done all he can do. None of his brothers, or sister give a crap about the condition they live in. They are used to it. I am going to have to spend a week with them in our apartment entertaining them, and smelling them. I feel so stressed out about this!
