How can i get rid of fleas in my house?!?

We used to have a small dog in the house that had fleas pretty bad. She's not inside anymore and we haven't had pets in the house at all for about two weeks. After the small dog was gone, we bombed every room in the house with some bombs from walmart. Waited 3 hours, came back home, and the fleas were not gone, actually i think they were worse. We've been washing allll the linens and clothes in bleach and what not, and we've bombed again with better strength industrial flea bombs from the hardware store. We've treated our yard with flea and tick granules as well. I've tried flea spray on the carpet in the bedrooms and that wont work. We have hardwood floors in every room except the bedrooms, and leather couches. These fleas are eating us alive and we've spent so much money and havent been able to get rid of them! What can I do?
