Our reception location is ocean front but we don't want a BEACH theme!?

Preppy can be sort of like "yacht club", very high end. Crisp navy jackets, bm in matte yellow, not too bright. Maybe bellow ballerina's shoes or mary janes. Cake square, white with blue decorated with a blue band around the bottom of each layer and a small cascade of yyellowflowers. refer to some of the pics suggested below. Have gmen in crisp navy blazers and white or khaki slacks with a pale blue shirt and matching small stripe tie. Have bm bouquets some yellow, white and few blue flowers, hand tied with navy ribbon. Have groom in a dark navy suit, use small yellow mum, rose or mini carnation bout with some tropical greenery and lime hypericum berries. Add a dot of lime to bm bouquets for some pop. Not too much. Some yellow in your bouquet, no blue. Look for blue, not purple iris with yellow throat. Theme-- The Love Boat--tropical fruits, but not too beachy. Sort of like a high end cruise ship.
