I'll try this again. Ladies, can I use pretty paper napkins with linen tablecloths?

I am having a cake and punch shower for my boss at our place of employment. I am using beautiful linen tablecloths and clear glass plates for cake. Is it tacky to use paper napkins? Thanks for your help!
