Anyone know how the seaweed conditions in Port Aransas this year?

Hi we are going down at the end of July. We went back in April of this year and the seaweed was horrible it was piled high by the water and in the water yuck! lol We personally do not like the seaweed at all. Anyone know or has been recently like this month can tell me how bad it is? we are staying like 3 or 4 miles south of Port Aransas.
