Are we (Americans) controlled by Israel?

Saw congress today give the Israeli Prime minister a standing ovation. Now 8 years in the military has taught me to reprimand in private. Never wash your dirty linen in public. Even if you don't agree with your superiors, address it in private. We are the greatest and most powerful country on the face of the planet!!!!!! Even if we don't agree with Obama, must we follow sheepishly to another commander??? This is not a rant, Just disappointed in my fellow country men.
