HELP ASAP!!!! HAIR DYE TURNED BLACK!!?

that usually happens to my mom, the color will turn black but when she washes it out of her hair its brown so i guess thats normal. i guess you'll just have to wait and see unless this is not your first time using that dye then im sorry and hope everything works out!
